Just tried to do a search to see what the first ever post on EO was and when. But it comes up on the screen "cannot open the selected thread". Is anyone old enough on here to answer the question.

So David, does this mean EO turns 10 years old on the 28th September this year. All members get a free piece of birthday cake in the mail, better still I think all members would agree, we all get a free wheel cover..................lol

What do all the other members think?

Na stuff the members, they already get it all for free.
And wheel covers are useless for us hardcore 4by's as they only fit "soccer mum 4by's" not dual cabs and traybacks (the real 4x4's).

Perhaps a set of seatcovers to fit your choice of vehicle for registered users....

Willem and EO parted company about a month ago. Hence his non postment lately.

I had the first real post.

It went something like

'Check out these new holden suburbans, i think there going to appeal to the same people that bought betamax video recorders'

I don't know Kingswood - Betamax was a technically superior product and didn't sell as well as the opposition in the mainstream compromise market - sort of like Patrols and Cruisers.

Back in 2000 he would have been lamenting the power of his 2.8 diesel.
