Has anyone had experience in sending a laden car (pajero) and camper trailer from
Brisbane to
Adelaide? I am investigating a family holiday to Fraser Island but looking to fly back
home from
Brisbane rather than drive. A lot of car transport companies seem reluctant to carry a laden car and camper. Can anyone recommend a carrier? Cheers

In my experience, they are reluctant to take a vehicle with anything in it at all, and secondly, will charge as much for a box trailer as the tow vehicle.
Making your proposal worth about $4k.
Cheaper to fly the troops
home and drive yourself via the Centre :-)

I use to send vehicles all over Australia These were fully laden service vans for our rally team.
Sent two to
Perth on a truck and dog trailer. Half way across the the dog came off the truck wrote off both my vans.
Ever since then I got someone to drive them everywhere. LOL

Get onto some of the car hire companies , most have a list of people willing to drive their vehicles from city A to city B .
