I am looking for a 2KVA generator but height is a problen. I only have 320mm high entrance to my storage area. Is it OK to lay a genny on its side for a second or two. Max C

Hi Max, a second or 2 should not make any difference, as long as you don't turn it upside down and the petrol cap is fixed tight. I assume that it is only to get it through the initial opening and then you can stand it up straight. I have a 2400 Yamaha and had that on it's side for a couple of seconds with no ill affects. Cheers
