Tyre question

Recently noticed a distinctive "crease" mark in the full depth of the side wall of one of my tyres.
It has travelled approx. 12,000km on a mixture of black top to high country tracks.
No other visible marks and has not been subject to impact damage.
Should I be concerned?
Without getting into a brand name slanging match it is an LT construction 285/70x17
