I need to replace a noise lifter in a 92 3.0 V6 pajero.
Does anyone know where I can access a downloadable pajero service manual from?
Any replies greatfully accepted.

Ken if you can't get one just let it be noisy - it's a very common Pajero failing and won't cause any damage.

Have you tried pooring in a bottle of lifter free about $12.00 a bottle worth a try first.

I had the same problem for years in My 3l Pajero and my mechanic kept telling me not to worry about it, I was never comfortable with it but it never caused me any problems.

Ken you don't have to remove the lifters to fix them just push a 1mm diameter piece of steel wire into the oil hole in the rocker imedietely above the lifter, with the motor running the oil will flow out as you push the ball of its
seat and clear the grit which is causing the problem. Change you oil more often. Eric.
