Can anyone out there tell me where would be the nearest
camp site to
Carnarvon Gorge that we could have or leave our beloved dog whilst we adventure at Gorge.

Try calling the
Injune Information Centre on 07 4626 0503, as they would be the best to advise you.
Depending on when you wish to visit, you may want to rethink if going in the next month or so as the roads require major repairs due to the recent flooding.
Cheers Kev

Takaraka
Camping Ground (not quite sure of the spelling)
We were last there 4-5 years ag, just outside the NP, about 5km from NP office and start of walks.
So no NP so no " No dog" rules, just what Takaraka dictate.
Otherwise it's a long way to
Rolleston or
Injune
Canarvon Gorge is a 3 day stay if you want to do it justice.
