perth camping show ref honda gen set $$$

hi all


just woundering if any knows how much the honda 2kva gen sets are going for at the perth camping show, thinking of getting one if the price is right.

Can't answer your Q re pricing, but have a good look at the Yammies while you're there....
compare size, weight, noise levels, and of course the all-important pricing, between similarly rated models....

Most recognised Honda Dealers will match, or even give a better deal when those shows are on.

Indeed - same for Yamaha - bought my 1Kva Yam from a suburban dealer who was not at the show here in SA - excellent price at the time.

Can't help with the price but there was plenty of them going out the door.

The Honda Shop advertise that they are a WA company who employ WA people.

Also something about matching or beating a competitors price if it is in writing.

Last year at the show they were $1750 with a cover and trolley nearly brought then but was smarter than that brought mine in January 2010 in Midland for $1,750 minus extra's still thought I did OK. Just something to go on for you

thanks all this gives me an idea, there is the new Yamaha 20i that has just came out to Australia any body brought the new 20i yammie yet, both very good but i would think that there would be more honda dealerships around in comparison to yammie dealerships.

I bought one last year at the Penrith show in SYD it was sold by the Generator Warehouse,I recieved a Honda 20i with a GW branded cover, cable no lock, foldout trolly and extended warranty out to 5 yrs all up and I did not haggle the price it was $1650 all up,so thats my 2 cents worth LOL!
hope it helps OH and it works a treat I turned it on for about a half hour in tassie and when I switched it off a bloke turned on his Kipore and when he was finished he came over and said mine was much quiter ,I cant really say if thats so as I was not paying attention but every man and his dog had a honder in the 4 weeks I was there ?

hi john thanks for the info that price is very good, i found out this afternoon that they are selling for $1700 or $1800 for all the goodies and the 5 yr warranty, looks like prices have gone up a tad.

Hi Stamps, was there today, they are $1799 with trolley, cover, cable and a nice tool kit, they were walking out the door.

had a Honda 20 ,very good ,only thing was when it was hot it struggled to push my aircon in the caravan , so bought a yamaha 2.4 and it does the job beautifully.prised around $2000
