Suspension

There is an unfortunate but realistic fact about purchasing a new 4WD - it won't come fitted with a suspension system designed to carry the kind of load you'll pack for a serious outback trip.

Wondering if anyone has used the air bags on ebay that fit beside the coil between the axle and chassis.

No they sit sit beside the coil.EBAY.the 4wd shop air bag suspension assist kit nissan patrol coil spring.we have ordered a kedron and think these might be of help.

Kedrons are a heavy van, I'd be checking the tare weight and allowing for other stuff your going to load into it, Because GU tray backs only have about 2.5t tow rating.

I'm also interested in air bags for a D40 Navara - there seem to be a wide range of prices and little to guide me about the differences. So far, the $WD Shop/4H (Vic) look cheapest; Has anyone dealt with them?
