Looking at spending sometime in the Ben Boyd National Park to start off our 12 month travelling adventure. The website states no caravans, does anyone have experience with camping in this NP and if so is it possible to take an off road Jayco pop top? Very small in size.

I can't get hold of anyone at the parks office.

Thanking you in advance.

I guess that you really need to ask yourself what part of the directive 'no caravans' you don't understand. Perhaps there is a 'fine line' between camper vans and caravans. I don't know. Guess that's up to NP to clarify. Good luck.

When a van is similar in size to a camper van I would say there is a fine line. Thanks for your comments.

Well then it is a camper trailer isn't it. Jayco Pop Top Camper Trailers aren't caravans are they?

I doubt you will have a problem with it. They have specific sites for Camper Trailers and your 'Van' would fit easily. Just mention it when you book. These days there are 'caravans' and then there are 'caravans'.
