The Bureau of Meteorology is warning a cyclone may develop off WA's north coast just in time for Easter. The bureau's Severe Weather Section's long-range forecasts show a tropical low is likely to develop off the Northern Territory coast within days, and may impact WA.Forecaster Andrew Burton says while the bureau's modelling is not an exact science, the predictions are worth keeping in mind as people plan their Easter break."For some days now, they've been consistently saying that something is going to form somewhere to the north of Darwin or the top end here," he said.
Over the weekend we should see something starting to spin, and it could be by Tuesday that we actually have something resembling a tropical cyclone."

Great, the Southern States could do with a lot more rain. Bring it on.

Not yet DIO

Melbourne has smashed another all time weather record with well over 100 days of above 20c temperatures and I want it to last till after easter.

Any chance you can send the link to the site and page you are referring too. We are heading up to Broome end of next week for easter.

Had a dig around the BOM site and can find any reference other than some talk about a low developing in the NT.
