Jim, I'm sure Matlida is lovely in her own way, but, I doubt that I'll be able to see that...in fact I doubt that I would even be able to be in the same room as her...actually I know I couldn't be...so you'll just have to take her picture and I may look at that, from afar and through binocculars....otherwise...I'm packing hairspray and I won't be afraid to use it....lol...

Dodo, That Mrs Al is not into things different is she. I offered to let her nurse my grandson but she declined that too. Just because Scooby Doo is 2m long and is a real cuddly carpet python.
Funniest thing a pet would do was a healer that would grab the front wheel of a 4 wheel bike and not let go resulting in it doing full circles whilst you were going along. Always did it whenever the bike was started.Nil Taurus Excretus

as big a bread and butter plate.....
I used to collect Trapdoor spiders when I was kid (she says I am still am) and also Red Backs.
these days I use flyspray when I see the stripped bugga's
can still pick up the huntsman in the hand to toss him ouside when she screams lol lolWow! am I cute

Chickens !!

I have a friend who took a chicken with her through the outback
so she could have a fresh egg for breakfast each day.

We bring our 2 chickens with us when we travel the 2 & half hours out to
our shack in the bush.

They miss us when we leave them at homeDefender Extreme

We have a black dog.....a Heeler/Staffy X......the Heeler chases the ball but the Staffy won't bring it back.

Anyway when we are driving somewhere and the dog is in the back of the wagon it bites trucks and red cars as they pass from the front. It sits intently waiting for something to happen looking past the driver on the near side. Caravans, small cars, utes, motorbikes are all ignored. But trucks and red cars...beware.
Cheers

well, we have a nice big bully bitch called "peggy" loves travel, eating human type food in reward for her being our "over the horizon early warning radar system" or something like that. But the most useful travel companions we saw were 2 milking goats, several chooks and a duck on the back of one of two landy 101's (the forward control mod.) camped at Hells Gate 12 yrs. ago. Two families, on the wallaby and very self sufficient I must say!
cheers haze
