Hi all,
2nd post :-)
Wanted to know if any of you think the price of Blackwolf Turbo 300 Plus (canvas) is a good buy for $1,070 (new) at
camping store?
If many of you think I can get it much cheaper than that, I'm prepared to wait a little longer and perhaps do some haggling at the Rosehill Supershow in a few weeks time :-)
Have a great weekend you all.
Cheers!
Timothy

Found them on ebay for $1249 which is where I normally base my 'cheaper' pricing on (i.e. I can get my Coleman Montana for $250 less than retail on there, but still looking).
Kulkyne Kampers has it for $1,160 and kellyscamping.com.au have it for $1,075.95 + postage, so I would say it is a great deal!

Seen them for $1039 herwe with free postage so I presume around this sort of price is good. Also for $990.00 in the 2nd link.

Google the tent for some further shopping.

I paid $1195 (20% off) for a Turbo 240 Plus last year (RRP $1495) so I think your tent is a total bargain.
Your price is cheaper than the links posted below- the prices quoted are the Turbo 300 (not Plus).
I don't imagine you will get it any cheaper at the show, plus it is nice to support your local guy :)

When I asked what was the sale price they were selling for which was nearly $100 more than the best price I found in store on sale. I told them don't worry as I found a better price in my area.
They asked what was the best price I found and where, when I told them and they called that store to see if they had it in stock and was happy to beat their price by a further 10% making it $1,070 which I thought was a pretty good deal after a fair bit of research for a Blackwolf 300 PLUS (canvas)
Looks like I will end up buying it from our local
camping store :-)
Hope I've made the right decision! Tossing up between a 300 plus and 240 plus ..... just worried if I buy the 240 plus, I will regret not buying the 300 plus! :-S

I started with a 240 Plus.. wasnt big enough for our family of 4... it was cosy though.
Took it back and upgraded to a Turbo twin 300.. now it's just ridiculous :-)

I bought a BW Turbo Lite Twin 300 for around $859. Biggest Turbo tent!

The Turbo 300 canvas($959) from Kangaroo tent city is hard to beat with price and also where i bought my twin 300.
