Hi All
We are planning to Leave for
Lightning Ridge on Good Friday but received a call from
Lorne Station advising that they expect flooding by then and the festival called off. Can anyone shed any light on the rivers/creeks around this area and if high waters are heading that way, cheers,
Rob

Hi Rob
Have a look at the
Walgett Shire page in the link - gives all the present road closures. The lin below gives shire details - you might give them a call.

Rob,
I was in
Lightning Ridge from Monday to Wednesday this week. The flood water was expected to isolate
Lightning Ridge this weekend so I would say the reports are correct.
Cheers Kev
