Does anybody know of a site where I can view the progress and extent of the Queensland floodwaters and their movement into NSW, in particular the Darling River system. I am travelling to the Bourke, Louth, Tilpa area at Easter and I am courious as to the effect this body of water may have on the area.

Look at the 'roads' tab in the top left corner of the main forum page located between 'site updates' and 'news'.

Also try racq road report

Unfortunately the NRMA doesn't do a similar thing to RACQ, well not that I could find anyway.

Maybe the weather sites would have flood warnings etc

At least one of your concerns will be the condition of the road system, so on that basis >>>

Bourke Shire Council Road Condition Report

and

Central Darling Shire Council Road Condition Report

Hope that helps

Top time to get out and about in the outback. The Darling river is full now so take ya tinnie, kayak or bogie board and have a top time. Heaps of birds, lots of life and the locals are in good spirits! Here's a video of what it's like at Bourke in mid April.
