Hi
Has anyone stayed at the Bluewater
creek Camp Area about 30 km north of
Townsville. I am traveling that way in a months time and am interested in
free camping areas in the
Townsville Cairns region.
Thanks Kc

Gooday,
Stayed there a couple of years ago, is quite a large area but some of them spread out a lot with no consideration for others, we had an ignorant character who had to have his generator running until 9-00pm when we were there.
Try on Caravaners
forum and you will likely get more replies with more up to date information there.
Cheers,
Borma604.

It was pretty crowded when we were there in August last year - some of them looked like they were pretty
well settled in - tho I think it is only a 48 or 72 hour
camp - look up in theCamps 5 book, or I think there is a section here under "free camps"

Forgot about
Cairns - Rocky
Creek Memorial Park is just outside
Atherton, and really nice - heaps of room, and usually nice people there - 72 hour I think.
