Hi All,

Thinking of a trip down to Wilsons Prom for a week or so over the ANZAC day weekend.

Wondering what sort of weather to expect, i'd imagine it wouldnt be all that pleasant if it got windy......

Has anybody had a trip down there at this time of year recently?

Cheers,

Jackson

You want a long term weather forecast for Wilson's Prom in late April?

My best guess would be probably:

Two or three days of sunny, cool weather (around 20 degrees, maybe, if you are lucky)

Two or three days of wet weather, around 15 degrees or cooller

At LEAST one day with VERY strong winds which will blow down any tents not nailed down very securely.

Climate stats:

April Averages

Max 17.3
Low 12.7

Rainfall 85mm
Average Days of Rain 11

Mean Number of Clear Days 1.8
Mean Cloudy Days 18.6

MEAN Wind Speed 30 km/h

Just take wet weather gear, polar fleece, board shorts and LOTS of tent pegs...

Cheers

Gday
The first thing to do is to ring and book as that place could be booked out.
