Yes indeed...
Happy Easter to you and to All...
We're not taking the van out this Easter (3 month trip begins 2 weeks later) but we will be jaunting down to the Menindee Lakes for a day trip - 100kms from us here at the Hill...
Predictions are (with all the water) that there won't be a spare gum tree up there over the Easter break...
Used to be like that in the "old days" - every man and his family used to trek to Lake Pamamaroo over Easter... Free Camping, Great Fishing, Excellent speed-boating, Party-Lights, Music, and Bucketfulls of Yummee Yabbies...
Ahh... Nostalgia...

am almost packed - leaving the rest for the morning...only a 3.5 hr drive and no set time frame (except in time to set up tent before dark) so will take it easy with the munchkins -they are very excited about getting away (I can't wait til we get the camper trailer - how much easier will it be to pack than trying to fit everything in the back of the wagon) Still getting better at packing each trip, guess I'm not doing too bad this time as it is a bit longer than our usual 2-3 nights (5 nights this time). Car is fuelled up and ready to go. Best I sort out the Easter Eggs into something the kids won't see ...still trying to think of the best way to do the Easter bunny thing when camping (am used to hiding in the house when kids asleep)...but I guess I'll figure it out when we get there!

Sounds like me LOL

Just finished packing and the Easter eggs are hidden away for the kids ;)

Just hope Bruce is awake and ready to go at 6am in the morning so we get there with some time to smeel the roses on the way into Mt Moffatt.

Hope everyone has a Safe and Happy Easter

Cheers Kev
