Hi
I have a Waeco CF 80 and have always used it with the dividers in. Ie Freezer scetion and fridge section. I want to use it over
easter as full fridge. When used jointly I have always just set it to -15 degrees (freezer temerature) and the fridge section has been a good temperature.
The manual says with the dividers removed that the actual fridge temperature wil be a fair bit higher than what the display says.
Has anyone had experience setting one of these so the beer is cold but not frozen?
Thanks

Over the last 6+ yrs we have only used our 80lt Waeco as all fridge 3 or 4 times [ all other times as fridge /freezer] , when used as all fridge I have found that I needed to grank it up to maximum to maintain an internal temp of 2-4 deg , 24hr power consumption rose by 1/3 ,

I have had the Waeco for a few months now and also have an externally mounted Temperature gauge with sensor placed in the fridge section. I then set the Waeco thermostat temperature at anywhere b/w -10 to -15 to ensure constant temp in fridge of b/w 4 and 5 degrees. You will find that generally there is a 10 degrees variance b/w freezer temperature and fridge temperature. It is a bit fiddly as the freezer then works hard and does freeze the beers if you leave them in too long. The element for the Waeco 80 is in the freezer section and so that is why the fridge section is a struggle to cool down. I found it all works OK but not perfect. You just have to keep playing with it. I wasn't confident to 'set and forget'. Also the dairy compartment is barely cold at all and is really just a small pantry section for butter/bread etc.
Good luck.

Have had waeco 80ltr for few years using mainly as fridge/freezer Travelled aover most of aus so naturally are in some areas andseaqsons that are hot . I found funit had to work tooo hard to keep fridge cool so we threw out top setion divider and replaced with craft board but about 40mil lower for air to circulate easier. now works a lot easier makes ice cubes easy and fridge is alot cooler.

I drilled holes in the top divider to allow more cold air to flow works
well before that had left divider out but now I can use the whole of the freezer area and still keep the fridge cold usually run at about -15

I run it with out the dividers some times and I find that -3 is OK. Right next to the evapourator there can be a few ice bits in the beer but that's OK.
I've seen peopl use frezzer bricks instead of the plastic things Waeco provide as they pass the cool air much better
