Looking at the quality of the video on HD full screen You Tube is fantastic, Peter Dunn of Oz @ War website sent me a couple from his , I just said WOW, at $249 I will be ordering one tomorrow, .

The Kodak Playsport model might be better for the top end, it can handle getting submerged/wet.
Virtually identical specs too, the only difference seems to be no macro mode.

wait a couple of days and it will be twice as powerful and half the size

The biggest downer on small cameras is the shortness of the optical zoom
Many are only 3 x, some are up to 10x
Digital zoom is useless if you want to blow the images up very much.
The zoom I have on the Nikon goes from 18mm to 270mm
or in 35mm format 28-390mm.
A very worthwhile lens but 5 times the price of the camera you are looking at.
Horses for courses I guess but some of the pocket size ones are pretty good these days.
