Evening all,
With regard to updating my Nuvi760 with the latest versions of City Navigator 2010 and Oztopo V 2.1b I am in trouble.

After uploading, downgrading and manipulating files etc, I cannot get both mapsets to work,

This has been a 2 week work in progress and I am at my wits end.

Neither GPSOZ or Garmin can shed any light on how to fix the issues.

The major bug is that after downloading the files in the correct sequence inclusive of downgrading software to suit, I cannot deselect City Navigator on the Nuvi to allow Oztopo to work.

Any clues would be appreciated.

Cheers

Steve

I bought OzTopo V2.1 and had issues with it on the PC after I got a new PC , maybe it was Vista, I dunno, but now use Garmin Topoboth on the PC and the GPS, ...............Micky Mouse mate .
Oh....and I don't do internet download updates either, I buy the CD then I can add it to the PC.

Dis you buy the Topo Maps from Garmin.
$219 I think they are. Just wondering if they are worth it or not. I have a Garmin GPS as well as OziExplorer on my Laptop. I was thinking of getting the Garmin Maps as you cant upload any other Topo map to the Garmin.

Bugger,
I bought the City Navigator upgrade via the Internet as a download. I am running XP on the laptop and it has 4 Gig of RAM.

Any other hints??

Thanks Doug.

Yes you can add OzTopo with contours to a Garmin, but I prefer the Garmin Topo, it's just a tad more accurate .Look they both have features the other don't.
