Hi Everyone,
Just about ready for our trip, only the last minute things to do.
Travelling west to
Windorah then taking the Diamantina Development Rd to
Bedourie then on to
Boulia to the Donohue Hwy / Plenty Hwy to
Alice Springs to Uluru. Kings Canyon then to the Tanami Road to Northern Hwy >
Fitzroy Crossing >
Windjana Gorge Rd >
Gibb River Road >
Kununurra an back via the bitumen
any advice regarding road conditions, fuel stops, would be appreciated.
We have a diesel Maverick with a body lift, long range tank and towing a
camp trailer.
Thanks
Kim

Hi Kimlee,
It would be a good idea to
check the road conditions on this site or state webs
as there has been a lot of water everywhere you look like your heading.
There are 3 maybe 4 fuel stops on the tanami we topped up last year all the way up that track, we found fuel cheaper in Wyndum rather than
Kununurra was about 15 cents cheaper, a good 4wd road atlas shows most of the info for stops.

Hi Kim,
There is no fuel at
Tobermorey near the Qld/NT border on the Plenty. Many maps still show that there is fuel there.
