Hi guys,
We have a survey crew heading to
Lake Frome in a month or so - can anyone point me in the right direction for a place to get updates on flood levels, predictions, etc?
Thanks!
Tristan

Gday Tristan,
I'd guess you'd know about the road conditions website which is updated daily. The roads are open to 4wd from
Yunta at present:
http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/quicklinks/northern_roads/area4.asp
As for
Lake Frome itself, I don't know any websites etc which would give water levels. It mostly gets water from the
north Flinders ranges but may get backflow from the Strezlecki Creek during an exceptional year (I'd guess we are having one of those!)
Arkaroola do regular flights over
lake Frome, so I'd expect they'd have a good idea of whats going on, or maybe the nearby station Frome Downs.

I'd be contacting the
ranger station at
Balcanoona
