Goog from Googs Track

Hi All, can anyone tell me how Goog (Martin Denton) and his son Dinger died??
Have been talking among friends and no one seems to know how they died, tried searching but no success.

Thanks in advance

If memory serves me correctly, Goog died through illness and young Dinger was killed in a car accident.

That's correct Mick, Dinger died on the highway in a head-on with a truck, I think about 12 months after Goog died.

Thanks for the information Mick, that was basically what we had found out, we found where Dinger had an accident but couldn't find anything on Goog which is somewhat of a shame. I would love to get all the history of the track but can't seem to find where it. need more hours in the day I think.
Cheers

Both Goog and dinger, died in car accidents near the vicinity of Googs track.

Source Aus 4x4 googs track history.

Seems the way of the land up there! just about every one I knew up there is now in the local cemetary from car accidents. I my self survived 2 crashes 10 years apart in that area on the Eyre highway, one on the West the other on the East side..... Very strange.
