We hope to travel the Anne Beadell track in June, and cross from it to the Great Central Road via either Minnie Creek Road or Point Sunday Road.

If you have travelled either of these roads, or have information about one or the other, your input would be much appreciated.

We will be travelling in a Prado and not towing.

Thanks, Kathie

Hi Kathie
We are out there again in August, great country. We have travelled the full length of Minnie Creek Road and the last section has been ripped up and is cross country travel only, while the Point Sunday Road is a good graded road. Have a great trip and settle the dust for us.

Regards

Stephen

Thanks Stephen. Your concise reply helps considerably. I suspect we will travel the Point Sunday Road.

Gidday

Travelled the Point Sunday Road about 18 months ago. I recall it being a bit of a narrow and windy track but I was in a truck (and I mean a truck). Fairly typical eastern goldfields country, mostly flat eucalyptus woodland i think. I wouldn't have thought you would have anything to worry about there in a Prado.

Cheers

Rocco

minnie creek road is getting rough. Pt Sunday is good graded track and that would be my pick. you wont miss any sights. the other option is stay on Anne Beadell right through to Yarmarna then whitecliffs laverton. I have taken a truck through to Neale Junction and use Pt Sunday Rd, it is quicker and smoother.
