Hi People,
My 80 series Landcruiser seem to be using way to much fuel. I've had it now for about 4 months and on average it does 3.5km per litre. The best it's done for a 90 litre tank is 319km. The Oxy Sersor was replaced on it but that didn't help. (Do I have to disconnect the battery for 1/2 hour to reset the computer)
Can other LPG Landcruiser owner's advise me their fuel consumpion? Thanks PPL
P.S Great site:)

You didn't say whether thats City or Highway ??
I don't have a Cruiser but I have a 4.5 Petrol Patrol, and a mate has a 4.5 Cruiser. WE get around 16/17 Highway at 20/21 City cycle on Petrol. You can normally add 4 or 5l per 100k's for gas.
I worked your's out at about 28/100 seems about 4 or 5/100 high. (at a guesstimate).
Don't know how to fix it though . . .

Gday
If thats on LPG then it is the usual usage. Expect better on petrol but not much.
I have thesame cruiser without LPG and get 5km/l Adding the LPG upsets the fuel callibration of the air flow meter a little bit and thats why consumption declines on petrol with LPG fitted. Have heard a snorkel/air
dam does thesame.

Hi Matho,
I have the 3F motor in my 80 Series, and I get similar economy to Eric, maybe a little bit better for city driving (320 - 350km). When on petrol, I am getting similar economy to the LPG. Just drove from
Boulia to
Alice Springs via the Donahue/Plenty Hwys and travelled 860 km before resorting to the jerry can.

Your tank is that maximum or usable. My 75 1FZ-FE Manual has a 110lt capacity LPG tank with 100lts usable. It returns 4.5ks/lt. Initially it was 75-80lts usable but I had the float reset .
