Hi everyone!
Am thinking about a trip to Innaimcka in July school holidays and someons suggested a flight over the channel country from
Innamincka have done a search on google but cant find any info. Can someone lead me in the right direction please. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Are the flies bad out there at the time or is it to cold of a night time?
Thanks in advance

Where are you planning to fly from?
How many in your party?
There are many air charter companies in SA and Pt
Augusta. There are no scheduled commuter flights to
Innamincka.
Yes it can get very cold in the outback over the winter months. Frosts in some areas are not uncommon.
As for flies, cooler drier weather tends to keep them at bay, however there are always exceptions to Mother Nature and her plans.
Check the Yellow Pages and make some phone calls. Good luck.
Have a look at the accompanying
LINK for weather at
Oodnadatta July 2009. It might give you some idea of what the weather may be at that time of the year.
