Over the last couple of years our local Constabulary have put the opposite (Diesel/Petrol) into about 6 vehicles so it must be easy to do. Bob.

The article states " most unleaded filler nozzels are smaller than diesel nozzels and will fit into the filler holes of diesel vehicles " , derrrrrrr , ,,,,,,,,
Most refueling stations [ I refuse to call them service stations as they no longer actually provide service] have 2x diesel bowsers ,1with large nozzels fast flow for trucks and the other slim nozzle for cars so whats the problem ?
One of the main problems is COLOUR coding of the nozzels ,, black -black and black , The U.N. colour code for diesel storage and dispensing is YELLOW ,

Yeah good idea, colour coding would be simple.

Most trouble I have is remembering not to put diesel in my wifes Commodore.
LOL
What happens when the only pump is the truck pump which is twice the size of the slow car one.

G`day Pedro,
The add doesn`t say if it allows you to use ...........
A funnel
A jiggle siphon hose
A drum pump nozzle
A Tanami pump
Etc..... Etc...
It just says that you use the nozzle on the pump to open it. HUH ????
It must be just for city slickers. LOL :>)
Too sophisticated for us Bush Bums.
Scrubby.

Thanks for all the input and I will have some excellent questions to ask if I decide to have a look at one.

If you read the RACQ web page it says if you come across a diesel nozzle which doesn't fit, simply unscrew the yellow device and then screw it back on when you finish.
Cheers
Numb Thumbs
PS I might get one for the diesel i30 which SWMBO may actually fill with fuel...
