I have just plugged in the power on my Jayco Penguin to turn on the fridge ready to go away over Anzac weekend. Every thing was fine and then bang NO POWER. Checked the fuses under the bed..all OK. Checked power to van..OK. Everything works fine on battery.
Is there a secret fuse or something that I don't know about? No power points, stove, or lights.
Help please!!!

Thanks Kanga,
But I have checked that as I have power to the van. It has got me beat.

Hi Phantom

My Eagle also has a 240 safety switch in the van located along side the rear power point. I had the same issue as you when I arrived at a camp and after stressing for 30 minutes flicked the switch and all was good. I assume the Penguin would also have one of these?

Yep, it will be there somewhere. a 240 Override switch (That's what I call it anyway)
Ring your local Jayco dealer they SHOULD be able to tell you where to find it.

Thanks Felllas for the responses.
I found the little saftey switch and all is now OK. It was hidden under the table on the opposite side of all the power wiring.
I can now go away happy for the weekend.

Have you checked why the safety switch set itself off?

Hi Nargun51,
That did cross my mind but it all appears to be working fine now. I will keep an eye on it over the weekend.

Hi Mates,
We are just off down south for 4 days. No plans..just stopping where and when we feel like it. We love our little Penguin. You should see it now..raised up, purple Cruiser wheels, spare wheel on the back. I must post a photo or two.
We will be around in July so would love to catch up but will be away all of August when all the Poms arrive and we are taking them up north to Karajini and Exmouth.

Take care,
Steve
