Yarramunmun / Morton - update on thread 76572

Hi there,

Yarramunmun is most definitely gated. A real shame as it's a nice trail which was actively promoted by the local tourist board until recently. Perversely the challenging Monkey Gum / Deans Gap road is very much open, though we weren't game for it this weekend.

I'll spare you the head-shaking about locking up our countryside.

Was most amused to see a well-loved Falcon (2WD) wagon successfully negotiate Twelve Mile Road - including the steep, rutted bit near Tianjara junction!! Turpentine Road black-topping is almost complete. Nerriga pub is as welcoming as ever.

Camped in Yadboro which was full but not unpleasantly so (no 2-strokes!) Lovely spot albeit a bit short on interesting tracks nearby.

Finally, to the green early 2000s Pajero heading into Yadboro that drove me off the road because they were driving too fast to slow down, it's usually considered polite to stop and check if you killed the occupants of the other car.
