I wonder what if any searches were conducted by you. A Google search turned up plenty of sources (in Australia) that sell the S.P.O.T. This one for example
LINK is one that I have dealt with. They offer competitive pricing, prompt delivery (if you require) and great after sales service. I.H.N.A.W.T.

Dio, not an attack on you BUT I feel if every body just used the search function when they needed to know something, this
forum would shut down in no time as there would be very little new threads to read.
I have no problem with anyone asking anything.
cheers shane.

Me neither.
My brother in law is brilliant when it comes to horses his vehicles and his
farm. Put a computer in front of him and he is totally lost. He did not even know what "Google" was until I told him yesterday.
Educate, don't destructively criticise.

Nav,
I don't think that it does. My understanding is that EOtrackme receives the information from
the Spot and
places it on a tracking map. "Spotwalla" is a similar site and allows friends to track you at the time or to view your tracks from the past. Others might know more.

I purchased mine from America via ebay. Got it for $115 Aus inc postage.
They are the same unit world over so it doesn't matter where you get it from.
You then register it online via their website and away you go.

Here is the link to my tracker site. We are currently heading for

A mate has one and they are excellent. He uses his for the safety factor as
well as it is great if we go hunting and he is camping in a
state forest a couple of days before I go to meet him ; I can just acces his info online and it will let me know exactly where he is.

Dave,
Spot device support for EOTrackMe is scheduled for this week however an urgent family issue may force it to be delayed till end of next week. This is however just the mapping and interaface function for Spot you will still need to purchase a unit and regsiter it for tracking support - I am sorry I am a not fully aware of all
the steps for this but I am sure I will learn in the next few days.
David.
