The road,approximately 40km past
Carnegie to
Wiluna has been washed out by heavy rain recently and the road is still closed . There is still no fuel available at
Carnegie as the fuel truck still cannot get through from
Wiluna. Keep in touch with
Carnegie Station (0899 81 2991) or
Wiluna Shire (0899 81 8000).

That's funny. I just got an email response from Gunbarrel Laager which states:
"The road to
Carnegie has been graded and is now in good condition according to some travellers who went to
Carnegie and back from
Wiluna this week. There is still some soft patches which should dry fairly quickly unless there is more rain. I suggest you keep in touch with
Carnegie Station tel (08) 9981 2991".
