As i commented on the specs of the new Challenger, and outlander , a while back as to how good they stacked up against the opposition, after today i withdraw my opinion on these two ,as previously i had not actually sat in either vehicle!, the problem is YOU CAN'T!!., unless you sit your date on the side of the
seat ,put your head between your knees and shuffle your self across!, I have never seen such a low roof line on any
vehiclesas those two. there was a triton ute beside them it was a different thing alltogether to hop in and out of.
Cheers Axle.

Hi Axle
I have taken delivery of a new Challenger, and in part I have to agree with you as far as having a low roof line, but if you position the drivers
seat correctly for your hight and agility (
mine is not the best) the head room problem disappears, or is not as bad as you are claiming it to be.
If the drivers
seat setting is not at its highest, for an average person it is sufficient/average.
I cant say the same about the Outlander, as I never sat in it.
Cheers.

G/day Mate, I might have over reacted a bit, but man!! its the first time ive hit my head getting into a new vehicle, as you say if theres room to adjust to individual requirements then all is good, hope you have a good run.
cheers Axle.

I just took delivery of my new Challenger today ( I'm 6' 5" ) and have not even noticed any headroom issues....are you 7 ft tall ??
What I would really like to know , has anybody taken the dash apart on one of these ( or a triton ) ?? I'd like to know so I can install some gear to it !!!

I recently took a challenger for a
test drive, and thought it was rather noisy and the
seat firm; depsite this the car felt great to drive , lots of room and good storage space, and a clear view out the rear window
Just wondering, does the roaring engine settle down after awhile , which model would you recommend for towing , longieviety and fuel effeciency?
( I am guessing the diesel)
what have do you like about the challenger? what dont you like, would you recommend it over the prado
Cheers,

Hi Horseshoe
I haven only towed the boat, and cant say I realised it was on there, as far the roaring engine, it does not worry me, and as the engine warms up it is quieter. It only comes in a 2.5 Diesel.
I have the LS 7 seater automatic, and I love it.
I cant talk about the Prado as I didn't consider it at any time due to $$$$ factor.
Cheers
