G'Day all
I have down loaded a bunch of maps from the Geoseince
website and loaded them into OziExplorer I downloaded the
maps in ECW format and they display and work to a point.
The problem is I can't keep moving to the next map, after
scrolling thru a few maps I'm told there is no map found for the
selected position.although the map is there and can be opened
by going thru the menu.Any help would be appreciated

You need to make sure that the "map" calibration files for the ECW maps are in a directory where oziexplorer can find them. This is usually C:/OZIEXPLORER/MAPS.
The map images themselves also need to be in a directory where ozi can find them.
Look in file>configuration>system>file path and file>configuration>map images>image file path.

Norm, have you looked at the File/Configuration menu? You will need to have the Data Files set to where the data files are stored and most importantly, the settings right for the Maps directory.

Having done that, go to the Map menu item and re-index map files. It has to have stored the location of all the map files. It can be enabled to look for all the subdirectories for maps and I think for up to six directories including other drives and CD/DVDs, but you must enable it to look there
