dogs can't be taken to DEC
reserves (
Goongarrie and Mt Manning) as they are conservation
reserves, other areas are your choice but I would strongly recommend that you don't as the the whole area is baited for feral dogs by pastoralists, Ag and DEC.

It is also worth noting that the area suround Mt Manning is
home to the highly endagered Mallee Fowl. Care must be taken when driving. Also if you spot a nesting "mound" take note of the position and hand the details the CALM.
