oil leak 78 series 1 hz

Hi was after any feed back on an oil leak in a 1 hz .It is leaking from the back of the motor on the head gasket ,rough price to fix? as we are on the road now

havent seen that many that are actually leaking from the head gasket itself more often than not it flows around the gasket and falls off the back after leaking from the front where the timing cover bolts up but if your 100% sure its the head gasket then obviously your looking at its replacement. About $500 is going to be a bare bones quote but 90% will tell you to get your injectors done at the same time and get the head recoed and by this stage you will be hovering around the $2000 mark
Just my opinion,,, get some quotes.

Thanks yeah it is 100% will get some quotes but are traveling at the moment so was after a ball park figure as im far from
home.

Make sure it is not the rocker cover gasket leaking first, oil leaks can be very deceiving.
Check the rocker cover bolts are tight also.
