Hi all
I have a GMC 800w generator. I know I got what I payed for but it has been reliable and I don't use it a lot. The choke is no longer working and it looks like a spring is missing but I can not see the usual grooves for it to sit on. Can someone please post a pic of the choke setup or email me a pic please.
thanks in advance
Adrian

Image Could Not Be FoundImage Could Not Be FoundHere ya go. There is no spring attached to the choke lever. There is a sprung tension post at the back of the choke lever base which holds it in position, if that's what your missing.

Adrian, you're welcome.
Last year our bushcamp was the target of thieving scumbags and vandals. We had two of these stolen. Some six months later we found one of them, this one in fact, in the bush near the camp. This is the 850.
Bit of a clean up, total cleanup of the fuel tank and carby, and it purrs like a kitten again. Cost me $89 six years ago. Runs the whole camp for lights, telly etc. Don't run it under 50:1 I share chain saw fuel with the gennie.
Ya just need a looooooong extension cord, to keep the 2 stroke smoke at bay.

Fred.
