Exhaust for my D40 Navara

I have a D40 manual Navara and I am looking at getting a 2 or 3inch system.

What would be the diffrence in the 2 sizes if any and what would I expect from a aftermarket system.

What would be the best size? I am looking at getting a system from STERLING EXHAUSTS

G'Day Johnny,
Not sure which engine you have in you Navara, But I fitted a 3" Sterling System to my GU 3.0LTD Patrol there is a huge difference in power as well as lower EGT's. I tow with mine & all I can say is it's much better all round.
Don't know about the 2" so can't comment.

Does the Sterling kit include dump pipe or is it just the exhaust back?

The Sterling kit for the GU was from Turbo Back, including a HiFlo Cat & a Mid Mounted Muffler.
So Yes it did include the dump pipe.

O I fogot to put that in it's a 2.5DT, yep thats right it dose come with a HI FLO Cat and a mid mounted muffiler

you can leave the system as is and remove the huge muffler replace with better flowing one or straight through pipe like mine has.

I was under the impression the original cat was part of the "flow" problem.
Maybe mine was blocked, but noticed a huge improvement replacing the whole system.
