Gibb River Road

The Gibb River Road is the 4WD option of the 2 main routes crossing the Kimberley from east to west (or vice versa) and provides access to the numerous gorges that are the main highlight.

Name Not Found

I am heading out to the Gibb River Road in August. It will be my second trip along the road. The first was done using accommodation along the way. This time will be towing a camper trailer, (tent for places I can't go with the trailer). Any comments on some of the best camp sites on the road free or otherwise.

DIO...thanks for the reply..I have viewed most sites pretty well...basically just chasing peoples thoughts about the best and the ones that are a muist see.

Pretty much nothings free anymore mate. All paid camping now. No more free campsites. although how could they police it, there is plenty of places to free camp though if you wanna risk it.

Silent grove campsite is great.
