Hi Lachlan
I was out there about 4 weeks ago the WA side is realy good and has been for about 2 years and as for NT side it is total crap, people thought when we got to Yulara we were smiling but we where just trying to keep our teeth in our head. Fuel prices were Laverton $1.45 Giles $ 2.00.
Good Luck

Hi Lachlan
Like above, the WA side is usually very good. Can recommend staying at Warakurna and Tjukayirla, both top spots and your vehicle will be safe. Lots to see along the way and have a great trip. Make sure that you go to the Giles Weather Station and see one of the weather balloons being launched. The morning launch has the larger balloon. Also check out the Aboriginal caves at Tjukayirla.

Cheers
