I am wandering if any EeePC owners have had the amount of problems I have with
mine.
Mine is 16 months old and today is the 5th time it has died, fixed four time under warranty. Will ring ASUS tomorrow and see what they say.
The problem seems to be with the solid state hard drive, the reason I brought it, cause of the suppose ruggedness.

Sounds like you've got a lemon. I'd be contacting your State Consumer Affairs office to
check out your options.

I've got one, with the SSD, and it has been perfect. It has travelled many
miles in the car & in my backpack when we fly anywhere, and it's never missed a beat.

i have one also. the only problem i have had is when auto updates are on it freezes, turned that off and all is good.
