I've looked thru the archives and can't find much about Royal Flair 'vans, good or bad. I've been looking at an '06 single axle off road van for sale, full galvanised chassis etc etc and in immaculate condition and while it isn't my first choice it's an attractive 'van with lots of extra at a price much less than a S/H Trakmaster, Getaway Supreme etc, any feed back would be appreciated.

I have owned one since 2006. I have to say I am happy with it. It is tough, but still civilised inside. Ours has independent
suspension and Landcruiser hubs,
solar power, two AGM batteries, gas HWS, 12 volt fridge, air conditioning, generator cupboard, It has been bogged to the chassis and has been airborne (accidentally) over a
grid once. We travel corrugated roads and bush tracks and the interior has not fallen apart, only one or two screws have worked loose. At the factory there are photos from satisfied owners showing where they have taken their vans, also one of a van that has rolled over but held together. Only issue could be higher than normal ball weight 250 to 300kg for a 2000kg van, make sure your tow vehicle is legally and mechanically up to it.

Thanks Mike, thought for awhile there I wasn't going to get any feed back. Like yours
mine (I've bought it) has everything with the exception of s/panels and gas h/w. I'll be towing it with my trusty HZJ75, we're bush campers and rarely visit caravan parks and I'm looking forward to hitting the road.
