I had previously posted a thread re getting my Liemack refrigerator serviced at http://www.exploroz.com/Forum/Topic/75071/Liemack_Servicing.aspx due to the fridge not working.

Thanks for the replies.

I decided to take the fridge apart and through some basic electrical testing found the inverter to be faulty. The inverters for the Liemacks were made at Trisan Australia Pty Ltd (found a sticker on the side of the inverter) - address 32-34 King William Street KENT TOWN SA 5067 TEL: 08 8363 1770.

Have sent the inverter and front control panel to them for repair. Given my model was a 1999, they will repair the inverter, upgrade the electronics and firmware, mail back to me for $330. Better than paying for a complete new fridge.

So, if any body else has some issues with the inverter or control panel for a Liemack, give Trisan a call.

Hey Richard,

You seem to have the exact same problem as me - the 240v gave up first then after a couple of weeks the 12v went too. Some advice through my experience - go in through the front control panel then make a wiring diagram or which wires go where - I even took a photo just to be sure. Once you disconnect the front panel and the wires from the wiring junction unit, the inverter just requires the two screws removed and the whole unit should just slide out through the front panel access.

The lady at Trisan I dealt with is very helpful - her name is Leanne.
