Duane, 14 Mile can be unofficially pre-booked or campers get mates to hold a site [using a car, tent, boat trailer, etc..]. You can try pre-booking by phoning. There was talk in 2009 to limit stays to 4 weeks, but many campers have been known to stay May-Aug. Best to
check with Waroora Station [via website, phone, email]. If you arrive and no sites are available, there are overflow areas or other
places / sites along the Waroora coast that you can
check. Aug-Sept is the beginning of southerly trade winds and 3-out-of-7 days can be 10-20knots souwest from early morning to after sunset. BYO water and refill at
Coral Bay (cost $1 / litre from Caravan Park] and takes about 2hrs return trip [including time to top up fuel, food, supplies, etc]. Definitely need a porta-loo, some shade, fishing gear and usual stuff for self-contained camping. Enjoy, it's a great spot.
