Diesel Fuel Injection Systems

For drivers of petrol/gasoline-engined vehicles, fuel injection is a relatively new innovation. Only in the last decade or so has fuel injection become the norm and its predecessor,

Member - Tony (ACT)

With 270,000k on the clock the Deisel Pump has started to leak and the injectors are over due for a service. Question is, recommended Service Centres in and around the ACT?

Cooma Diesel has a pretty good rep, Haven't used them my self.

There are only two places that can do the actual service on the pump (ie rebuild/overhaul) - Cooma Diesel or Queanbeyan Diesel - both are good operations. All other places will remove the gear, send it to these or other specialist places outside of Canberra/Queanbeyan and then refit. (Caveat: There were only 2 the last time I looked - could be someone else has set up the clean room etc in the last year or so).

Ha Ha. Just been to see them and they seem ok. Better start saving the dollars though. Also rang the one up at Berimal, sounded good but the 4hour return trip and a day sitting around put me off.
