Hi folks,
Can anybody help to find a workshop manual for the current 70 series v8 ute.
Have tried Toyota, no luck, they say everything is online, and can only be accessed by their system. Would appreciate any suggestions....Franco

Franco,

you need to order it through Toyota spare parts. It is a cd manual only. The part number is: SC0582EB. This was the latest number in December 09 when I enquiried. I do not know if it covers the airbag model. The earlier part number was SC0582E.

Hope that helps.

Cheers Mick

Mick,
Much appreciated. Toyota says they have a disk number SC0582EA. The EB is not available. I hope the EA covers the V8, my cars were bought in April, and don't have a/bags.
Again thanks, will keep you posted.

African - the V8 should be in whatever version you buy. I have the SC0582E purchased for a June 2009 version and it matches perfectly.

If I recall correctly - there's hardly much changed from when the V8 came in first in 2007 - at least from the point of view of the engine.

Basic maintenance and general layout ought to be the same - in general.

Best $168 I've spent on a manual!

Thanks ptnuske
Thanks Ino,
I was simply worried that the CD won't be for the V8.
Toyota couldn't tell me what was on the CD.
I am very grateful for your info and will certainly get the thing asa they can supply.
I run a safari business in Tanzania, if you don't help yourself overhere, there isn't much else to turn to. The LC is still sold here with the old 4.2 / 6. I imported my cruisers from Aus.
Again thanks folks for input, what wonderful response.
