Hi,

Has anyone stayed at the caravan park on the beach in Nambucca Heads? It's called White Albatross now.

Any idea whether bookings for the cabins would be required in early September or if we can simply rock up?

Heys,

We stayed there in November last year - and it was very very lovely.

I think the easiest is to be calling ahead of time, there may be other conditions you may need to be aware of, and just rocking up might prove to be a disappointing choice.

For the sake of $2 (or however much you pay for a call), call ahead.

not sure about that park but we (4 families) stay at the Big 4 Nambucca Beach Holiday Park every christmas/new year. you could ring them and ask 1800 223 224 or 02 6568 6120 - ask for Beverley

It is a lovely park but does get very busy. there are 2 types of cabins there. The upper level includes a spa.

If you have children and they are heading to the river to play, they get very strong river current at tide change. There is a lake that children can swim in as well.

The only down side of this park is the town is at the top of the hill and it is a hard walk to town. Best to drive even thought it is just a kilometer away.
