Hi
We are debating between 2 camper trailers - i has a queen and the other a double. We prefer the camper with smaller bed due to additional extras in the camper but would like the queen bed!
Has anyone extended the double to a queen? Is this possible without removing the base every time we pack up?
Thanks

depends on the camper and its layout. my brother has a corimal windup and he has a piece of mattress/lounge or similar that sits at end of his bed and this makes it a north/south bed rather than a east/west arrangement.
i personally would take the smaller bed simply to have the extras - if they were what i wanted

We love our queen bed at
home, and bought the Dove with the "queen" bed in it. We had it 2 years and enjoyed the size, no problem. When I went to make sheets for it and a mattress protector I discovered it was a double! Prior to that, I would have said, I will never sleep on a double again. We are a regular sized couple and I was surprised how roomy the double was.
