Planning a trip up Mt Coree in the Brindabellas and heard today that there is a gate at the Pabral Rd intersection that is locked.

Any one know if this is true?

Is this a seasonal thing for winter or is my source way off the mark?

Never seen it locked before mate - and definitely not three weeks ago if that helps...

I was on top of Mt Coree yesterday so there is definitely no locked gate. The track is also in pretty good condition at the moment.

Mt Coree was closed last winter while they upgraded the road. There is no indication that it will be closed this year.
