This is my second post for the night sorry. On our way home I've scheduled some time to fossick for mineral samples around Mt Isa,
Cloncurry and in particular the abandoned Mary Kathleen area.
If any one has information re specific locations in these areas for fossicking I would be grateful.
Many thanks,
Mike (Vic).

Hi Mike
The Mt Isa
Tourist Info Centre did put out a booklet of "Mud Maps" for the Mt Isa area, Mary Kathleen is in it. It is very, very basic sketch, I can scan it and email if you wish.
Cheers
Neil

Hello Michael,
I'm not sure if the following site will help but I found it interesting and would love to get out there to have a look around one day.

Thanks Neil, Viv & Reggie 2,
You can always rely on help from the
forum and I appreciate it. I think the go is to get in touch with the Isa Tourist Bureau for a copy of the booklet. Yes the web link will be useful Viv thanks.
After I've visited the area I will complete a blog on it.
With thanks,
Mike (Vic).
