We are looking to travel from Hungerford to Cameron Corner via Bullo Downs Station in late July.
If any members could help with any info on this track & expected conditions that would be much appreciated?

Cheers David

We came through from Thargomindah to Tibooburra via Bulloo Downs last October and there was a lot of bulldust.
Since then lots of rain and flooding, but I don't know what it's like now.
There is a bit about it on my blog.

David.

I have been through there a number of times. A very nice run.
Rain will be your only problem.

cheers Wim.

Do not try it if there has been rain, at all - or if it looks like it might rain. We did it a few years back. Believed the guy in the Info place at Tibooburra who said that the clouds that were about, woud not bring rain in these parts. He woulld not pass muster as a weather forecaster. We did get some rain, the track turned slick very quickly. We couldn't go back, knowing the road we'd driven over would be bad - went on, and hoped it wouldn't get worse. Made it to the Tib road - just. Wheel arches totally full of claggy mud, with wheels just turning inside and trad full of mud, so no traction.
